The pretty girl takes Davey through the Freelands to meet King Solomon.
On the way he sees the vast armory of weapons they possess.
He accidentally inhales some of the steam from the fire and finds that it makes him happy and relaxed.
The king lives in a heavily guarded compound.
But in spite of his ominous physical presence, he is down to earth and welcomes Davey to the Freelands.
Davey tells him about his family’s deaths at the hands of the cullsmen.
