Luna gets a nasty surprise when Sam starts talking like a normal adult.
He tells her he knows that his dad had been meaning to kill them for a while now.
He tells her he pretended, because he loves his dad and didn’t want him to suffer.
He tells her that his dad has lost his mind since their mother died. He let his dad hold him under the water in the bath as there wasn’t anything to live for anymore anyway.
But Pullman was so messed up he didn’t Sam down long enough.
So Sam pretended.
Sam leaves Luna and goes to see his family.
After a while she follows him, expecting him to be dead too.
He tells her he tried but couldn’t do it. A knife sits beside him on the floor.
Sam asks if he come with Luna.
Luna considers for a moment then stabs him in the throat.
She sleeps then searches the barn for fuel.
She manages to find some and drives the dozer away from the creepy farm.
