Simon has been bounced from foster home to foster home and has had a terrible time of it.
His latest foster mother is an alcoholic waster who neglects and starves him.
When she tells him she isn’t his real mam and that his real mam didn’t want him, he loses his temper and chokes her to death.
He finds the foster paperwork and some newspaper clippings about his abandonment and goes on the run.
He vows to punish his birth mother who caused his miserable life.
