Squeaky enters the cells and takes Davey and the king to his limo.
As they set off for Mayor Craven, Solomon pulls out Papa Grim’s cutthroat razor, which he stole during their altercation in the cells.
He kills the cullsmen guarding them and tries to kill Squeaky, but misses.
They manage to get Squeaky’s gun and steal his car, leaving him by the roadside.
Solomon parks up near the derelict building inside the city that housed the entrance to the City of Dogs.
Monique and her daughter, Josie are there, as are some Grims from the Freelands.
A Grim called Rick greets them and leads them to his cloud in Distrcit 7.
Cullsmen are chasing, but Rick assures them that the maze of alleys will lose them.
There are explosions to distract the cullsmen and they manage to get into the alleyways with help from the Grims.
Solomon is slightly puzzled by how much food Rick’s cloud have at their disposal.
Solomon declares his intention to take down Craven while he is in the city.
Tommy, one of the Grims in charge has a nasty cough which is drawing blood.
Tommy tells him he has Grimrot and is on his way out.
They party with the Grims of Rick and Tommy’s cloud.
