Solomon realises that using his legs to hold himself up like this is going to tire his limbs out and prevent him from running away, so he decides to drop onto one of the dogs, hoping he can put it out of action.
He drops and breaks the dog’s back.
He runs for a dumb waiter lift in the corner of the room.
The uninjured dog does its best to get into the dumb waiter but he fights for his life and manages to escape.
He crawls through a tunnel and comes out in a dark room. He can hear someone is in there with him.
There are two dogs in cages.
He’s about to press a button on the wall when a voice tells him not to.
He finds an old man who is missing a hand. He introduces himself as Vic and puzzles Solomon by telling him he’s on level two of the City of Dogs.
Vic tells him that one dog has a key on its collar and the other has a knife. He tells Solomon that they need to take the knife and use it to kill the dogs and get the key.
Vic suggests Solomon hold the dogs while Vic stabs them.
Reluctantly, Solomon agrees.
They release the dogs.
Solomon manages to get the knife and throws it to Vic.
While Solomon wrestles with one of the dogs, Vic stabs him in the side.
