Deborah finds the bodies of more friends in the kitchen and outside the house.
She reaches her neighbour’s house and sees flashing blue lights.
She runs to the police car and begins telling the policeman what has been happening.
Something strikes her as being wrong, but she can’t figure out what it is.
Until the wind blows dust in her eyes and she realises the policeman hasn’t blinked in all the time they’ve been talking.
Horrified, she takes a closer look and sees that the cop is dead.
Cross gets out of the car.
He disarms her and smashes her head into the side of the car until she passes out.
