Cross comes in to see Deborah and asks if she has spoken to God yet.
He apologises to her and for a moment she thinks he is going to set her free, but then he reveals that he has left her unclean.
He hoses her down and gives her a towel to dry herself.
She tells him off for not cleaning her and he runs from the room.
Her mood lowers significantly upon being held captive, starved and having pieces of her flesh cut away every day.
She chastises him again and again he runs from the room, leaving her alone with the towel.
She makes a noose from it and hangs herself.
