Desperate for food, Deborah soon caves and eats the piece of flesh Cross has left for her.
It is the finest meal she’s ever eaten.
Deborah comes to be grateful for him abducting her and leading her to God’s side.
She feels certain she is feeling God’s touch.
Cross is overjoyed when she tells him this.
She makes it to the end of the forty days and he tells her that she is the first one to ever make it.
To ensure she isn’t tricking him, he tells her she is going to spend another forty days in here.
She agrees without question and he realises she is converted to his cause.
She falls in love with him and asks if she can help him to convert people in the future.
